I find that the representation of each activity is different, which is a strength of the way I conducted this project. The weakness is the obvious informal collages and presentation of my work and images, however this seems to accurately portray the haphazard way of how I conduct projects creatively. I found that the representation of myself was thorough, albeit succinct. I do not delve into personal matters with any person nor do I open up easily about certain topics.

This can be found in the way of portraying the images in my original, activity 1A. As odd as the images seem to be placed together, they make perfect sense to me, which is what I prefer. I enjoy remaining mysterious and like the cover of a book – if unopened, seemingly uninteresting.These activities broadened my perception of what I tend to enjoy and what I tend to dislike. I could display my feelings towards sustainability in an ostensible way. By subtly hazing my image in activity 1B over the flower image, I can elude to my passion for nature, but the underlying message is that I reject consumerism(depicted by my triangulated pixels breaking away at the edges of the main image).

The theme of purple relates to the plethora of connotations that relate to my heritage and personality. Purple signifies queer culture in Western cultural beliefs, whereas it also signifies death or mourning in Italian belief systems. These both relate to me in a sense that I felt confused about my identity for a proportionate amount of time during my high school career, and that my Italian roots are too distant for me to grasp at an identity.
